Breakfast

Breakfast is served in the dining room which boasts a lovely view over the valley. Whether you choose a Nutsford House full English breakfast, the vegetarian or vegan version, or something lighter, we aim to cater for all tastes. We aim to grow or locally source as much of the menu as possible. Eggs are courtesy of our rescue chickens, the toast and porridge is made on the Aga and the coffee is bottomless.

Gardens and Woods

Bordered by a stream, the grounds are a beautiful feature of Nutsford House. You are welcome not only to use the private garden dedicated to B&B guests but also to explore as you please the rest of the ten acre site. Keen gardeners will enjoy some of the unusual shrubs and specimen trees, and the private woodland is home to many varieties of native flora and fauna, including swathes of snowdrops in spring, orchids in summer and interesting fungi in autumn. There are a huge variety of birds here as well, and red deer regularly come and go through the woods.
